Terms and Conditions
Last updated
These terms apply when you use IssuePulse, at app.issuepulse.io and issuepulse.io. IssuePulse is operated by [legal entity to be confirmed] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
IssuePulse gives newsletter creators feedback links to put in their newsletters, records reader votes and comments, and shows the results on a dashboard.
Your account
- You must give accurate sign-up information and keep your password safe.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Early access and pricing
IssuePulse is currently in early access and free to use. We plan to introduce paid plans. We’ll tell you by email before any change that affects what you pay, and you can stop using IssuePulse at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t use IssuePulse to:
- break the law, or send newsletters to people who haven’t agreed to receive them;
- mislead readers about what a link does;
- collect data about readers beyond what IssuePulse is designed to collect;
- interfere with the service, try to access other people’s data, or overload it with automated traffic.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content and your readers’ data
You own your topics, labels, and the votes and comments your readers leave. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service. You’re responsible for telling your readers, where required, that your newsletter uses feedback links. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.
Availability
We work to keep IssuePulse running and links working, but we can’t promise the service will always be available or error-free. Vote and open counts are filtered to exclude automated traffic and are estimates, not exact counts.
Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@issuepulse.io. We may close accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its feedback links stop recording votes.
Liability
IssuePulse is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during free early access, is zero).
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed].
