Create your first topic

1. Open Topics in the sidebar and choose Add new topic.
2. Give it a name, such as “AI tools”. Names can be up to 60 characters.
3. Check the URL slug. IssuePulse suggests one from the name; you can edit it until the topic gets its first vote.
4. Pick a copy format: Embed, Linked, Markdown or Plain. Not sure? Read Choosing a copy format.
5. Choose 3 or 5 links.
6. Save.

The default links

Every new topic starts with these labels:

Position	Default label	Colour
1	Loved this	Green
2	Useful	Blue
3	Too long	Red
4	More on this	Yellow
5	Not relevant	Grey

You can rename any of them at any time. See Edit link labels.
