Trend chart windows
How the 7, 14, 30, 90-day and all-time views on the trend chart work.

The trend chart on each topic page shows votes per day. Use the switch above it to choose a window:
- 7 days: last week’s issue, at a glance
- 14 and 30 days: two to four issues of a weekly newsletter
- 90 days: a season of issues, good for spotting slow trends
- All time: every day since the topic was created. Past 90 days the chart scrolls sideways, opening on today; scroll left (or use the arrow keys) for earlier days
The totals next to the chart are for the window you picked. On All time they match the stats at the top of the page.
Tip: votes usually arrive in a burst the day an issue goes out and tail off over a few days. Comparing one burst with the next is often more useful than looking at any single day.
